Schumer says Democrats will present new evidence in Trump's Senate impeachment trial
"The evidence will be powerful," Schumer said. "Some of it will be new."
Senate Democratic leader Charles Schumer said Tuesday morning his party will present new evidence against former President Trump in his impeachment trial that begins after noon.
Schumer, a New York Democrat, spoke at the U.S. Capitol building and said Democratic House impeachment managers “will present a very strong case” that Trump as president incited the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill, according to The Washington Times.
"The evidence will be powerful," Schumer said, according to the newspaper. "Some of it will be new."
