GOP Rep. Nancy Mace fundraising, selling T-shirts off of bathroom bill
"The Left wants to NORMALIZE balls in women’s stalls. Hell no. I’m NOT backing down," Mace wrote on the social media platform, X.
GOP Rep. Nancy Mace is selling T-shirts off of her bill for same-sex bathrooms on Capitol Hill that would exclude transgender people from using them.
The shirt reads "Come and Take It" and has a woman's bathroom sign on it.
The theatrical South Carolina lawmaker introduced the bill Monday that would prohibit House members and employees and others who are biological males, including those who identify as females, from using women's public restrooms in the Capitol and House office buildings.
Mace proposed the bill just days after Delaware Democrat Rep. Sarah McBride, became the first openly transgender person to get elected to Congress.
"I’m not here to fight about bathrooms. I’m here to fight for Delawareans and to bring down costs facing families," McBride wrote on the social media platform, X.
Mace's post included a link to purchase a T-shirt, which reads on the back, "Mace for Congress."
"The Left wants to NORMALIZE balls in women’s stalls. Hell no. I’m NOT backing down," Mace wrote on the social media platform X. "Every purchase will help FUEL MY FIGHT to protect women and girls across America," Mace wrote.
