Voters suspect violence after the election, majority say the media would be at fault

A recent survey showed that whether GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris wins the election, voters expect there to be violence. 

A study conducted by Rasmussen Reports shows that 51% of American voters think that there will be violence if Harris is elected president. 

The study also shows that 47% of voters think a violent reaction will occur if Trump gets elected. 

Political divisiveness has often been discussed over the past few years and many have pointed out that the media have been fueling the fire. 

The study conducted by Rasmussen Reports shows that eight out of 10 voters think the media have been contributing to the divisiveness, according to the Washington Examiner.

The survey interviewed 2,956 likely voters between Oct. 17 and 21 and has a sampling error of +/-2%.
